Mariana Machado (Porto, 2000) is an independent artist and researcher. She has traced a path that passes through experimental cinema and installation, developing an interest in working with cinematographic structures and visual perception. Her research has unfolded around modeling, programming, and experimentation with digital technologies. She currently works not only with moving images, but also with sound synthesis, algorithmic composition, engineering, and questions of the philosophy of language and mathematics.
